Therapeutic Writing Workshops

I have always been drawn to books, stories, and the images that words can awaken within us.

Long before I became a therapist, literature held an important place in my life. Over time, I discovered that writing can be far more than a means of expression. It can become a way of finding our way back to ourselves, helping us approach what lives within us and giving shape to what we have lived through that may have remained difficult to grasp.

Some things become clearer through conversation. Others reveal themselves through writing. An unexpected sentence, a forgotten memory, or an impression that suddenly appears on the page can sometimes lead us somewhere we never intended to go.

It is this process that I hope to share through these workshops.

The Purpose

These workshops offer a pause from everyday life, a space where writing becomes a form of inner exploration.

Between what is already known and what is still waiting to be discovered, writing opens a path. It allows us to access our inner world and gives voice to feelings, inner landscapes, and fragments of our story that may not yet have found another way to be expressed.

The workshops are open to anyone who wishes to deepen their relationship with themselves through writing, whether they are navigating a particular difficulty or simply curious to discover themselves in a new way.

How the Workshops Unfold

Each session begins with a writing invitation designed to spark exploration and reflection.

A word, a memory, or a lived experience may serve as the starting point. From there, participants are encouraged to write freely, following whatever arises without concern for getting it right.

Images begin to appear.

Words take shape.

Then a voice emerges.

The intention is not to write well, but to welcome what is asking to be expressed.

For those who wish, texts may be shared with the group. Reading aloud often creates space for reflection, recognition, and resonance.

The group offers support and perspective. What touches one person may echo in another, opening new possibilities or revealing a different way of seeing. Participants often discover both a sense of shared humanity and a deeper appreciation of their own uniqueness.

My Approach

These workshops draw on my experience as a Gestalt therapist, as well as a lifelong interest in literature, philosophy, and art history.

I place particular importance on creating a respectful and supportive environment where each person can explore at their own pace.

Particular attention is given to presence, safety, and the atmosphere that allows exploration and expression to unfold.

Writing is not approached as a literary performance. It is a living process, a way of meeting oneself differently and allowing something new to emerge.
